12 weeks and counting

Yes, we are already 12 weeks along with BabyT4. Crazy how time flies! I remember when it was my first and I was addicted to reading every baby book I could find, I always knew exactly how big the baby was in my belly (which was always humorous because according to the books they always compared the baby to the size of some fruit or vegetable I had never heard of). And with BabyT4, well, I'm just plain tired. Still nauseous at night, but more tired than anything. I'm very ready for trimester #2 - I'm sure I'll just have LOADS of energy at that point - ha ha.

We are planning the very first of many family camping trips - July 4th weekend - we are hoping to make it a family tradition - we'll see how it goes with the kids. Most people think we are crazy, but we can't wait. We have the biggest tent sold - three bedrooms - wow. We have a fantastic stove for Shawn to cook us all breakfast on, we have already practiced making smores in the backyard. And the kids can't wait to cook a hot dog on a stick. Oh, and we will definitely be doing some fishing. The kids have their very own poles and have been practicing casting their lines in the driveway - yes, we get some strange looks. Our first adventure will be at Melvern lake with both my parents and Shawn's parents (we thought we better bring backup). So, I'm sure we'll have some good pics and interesting stories to tell!
It is now time for me to have a mint chocolate chip ice cream shake - mmmmm -

Hope you are having the time of your life!

C-A-M-P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Austin is at a week long CAMP this week!!! No, not overnight camp, (not that I looked around for one)...it's an arts and crafts camp at a local park here from 9-12 everyday this week. He lOVES it, as do I. It's giving me a taste of what preschool land will be like. Pretty cool. He's just getting so old! He marches off at camp like a big kid and of course will give me no details when he gets home - which gives me a taste of what high school will be like I suppose.

Right now, I am sitting outside in the backyard while the kiddos play, it is absolutely gorgeous out. Hard to believe it's mid-June...it's like 75 out here. Sure wish it would continue!

Ashlyn has stopped napping...ugh...trying to do quiet time everyday has become quite the challenge. Austin doesn't want to go to his room to have quiet time now since Ashlyn doesn't. Ashlyn can't go to her room since that's where Gabriella is sleeping, so I attempt to have her do quiet time downstairs, but Austin doesn't think this is "fair." He really wants Ashlyn to play with him in his room, but they seem to have trouble having "quiet time" in the same room together. Anyway, it's our second week of trying to figure it out, I'm sure I'll come up with something brilliant soon.

Gabriella has become such a big kid. She talks all the time and loves doing whatever her siblings do. She's the happiest kid and STILL sleeps 11 hours straight at night...ahhhhh...sure hope #4 comes out like that!!

As for pregnancy, well, still nauseous, but not too bad. And definitely not like my pal, Callie. Yikes...hang in there Cal - you''ll most likely get over the nauseous part soon!!!

We are trying not to float away here - luckily we haven't really been hit with any of the big storms - they've all pretty much gone around us, although we have had to go to the basement a few times.
We are looking forward to our canoe trip in July. And also looking forward to getting our patio put in if it would ever stop raining and then Shawn is building us a deck. Can't wait to get all that done.
I have had tons of work lately from the textbook company which is why I haven't posted in so long, nap time and nighttime has been work time for me...I'm almost done though and should have it in the mail tomorrow.
Tonight it's out to dinner with the gals!!!!!!!!
I better locate all my children - hope everyone out there is enjoying the summer!
Hope you are having the time of your life!

Here I am

So, I post my big news about being prego and then I'm MIA for a week - ha! We're still here and we're still nauseous...oh well, comes with the territory I suppose. Not a whole lot going on here besides the usual. We have had some pretty crazy storms - we were suppose to get hit really bad last night, but it missed us...we've had a ton of rain this week - ugh. I finally broke down and turned the air on - made it til June 2 though!! I handed over the presidency of SGC (my moms group) which I was pretty excited about. I'm ready to hold a different position and have a little less responsibility for awhile. The new Pres, Emily, will do awesome and I am looking forward to the next year. I'm very glad it's Friday, although Shawn is in a golf tournament all day tomorrow. We're in the process of trying to plan a family vacation. Shawn is going to build a deck in the backyard after our patio gets poured soon. We are looking into the kitchen remodel which has to be done before the baby gets here. As for right now, Austin and Ashlyn are reading books to each other and Gabriella is wandering around getting into everything. We're deciding what are plan is for the day - might involve a big sale at the great mall and a park for lunch. Maybe hit the pool this afternoon - we'll see what the day brings!
Hope you are having the time of your life!!
