Just Survivin'

I thought I better post something on here or you might just think we fell off the deep end with all these little Turners running around! We are actually doing pretty good. Of course, we still haven't made it a whole 24 hours with no grandparent help yet, but we are getting close! Shawn's parents spent last week with us helping out with the kids as I continued on the road to recovery. I am actually feeling really good now. I can pick up Ashlyn without any problems and I can lift Austin when I need to although I try to limit that as much as possible. Gabriella is still doing great - sleeping like a champ! She is still on the three hour schedule, but she is pushing 3 and a half sometimes at night. I think my body is getting pretty use to getting up to feed her, well, as much as your body can get use to getting up in 3 hour intervals all night! This morning we had a photo shoot with my friend Kim who got some pics of the kids and some family pics for us. I can't wait to see them!!! She does some amazing things with that camera. Somehow she makes my kids look WAY more innocent than they actually are!! Anyway, I should have some baby announcements out soon...keep an eye out in the mail! Tomorrow with be my first day with no outside reinforcements...although I told my mom to keep her phone in her pocket at work so she could coming running at a moments notice. I will be totally on my own tomorrow - I'm kind of looking forward to it - although the help was much needed and we couldn't survive without it, it's always nice to get things back to some sort of normalcy. I have to know in my mind that I can do this and the only way to know that is to give it a try. And if I can't, well, my mom will just have to quit her job. Oh well!
That's about it for now - oh yeah, we are finally going to be putting Gabriella into a real bedroom. I think we are going to put Ashlyn in with Austin and put Gabriella in Ashlyn's old room. At least for a few months...then we'll get the girls in a room together. We are hoping maybe having Ashlyn in Austin's room with make Austin sleep better - don't laugh, it's worth a shot, right?
